A new reproduction of the metal mirror backs used on the later Alfetta GTV and GTV6 has just arrived. These thin metal capping used to rust out after only a few years, so another great addition to our parts offerings for Alfetta GTV and GTV6.

These have off-center mounting holes, the late cars have central bolt holes

Spherical top inner arm joints now available for all trans-axle cars
Replacing the caster rod end with 105 series ball joints is a tried and tested method of fixing the caster rods and improving positioning but for finer and faster responding front suspension you need to alter the inner top arm bush from the solid rubber to a fluid and crisp spherical joint.

Uprated gearbox mounts for all trans-axle cars now available from stock
Front mounts as per the Group A cars with hard rubber bushes, They make clutch and gearbox removal far easier by being in two parts separated by a single bolt.
These hard wearing bushes adjust for height, allowing a bit more precision in positioning and hold the gearbox preventing twist and lift.

These top arms allow for camber adjustment, most commonly required for track/competition use.

Thanks to Richard Melvin and Chris at CSR we can now supply a reproduction of the blade style roll bars used on the Luigi touring cars in the 1980’s.
They are 30mm diameter hollow bar, with adjustable rigid alloy blades. Supplied with fittings including body to bar bushes and uniball links.

As well as standard mild steel exhaust sections we now have this fantastic stainless steel manifold kit and sports system available for Alfa 75 TS
All made in Italy, the manifold kit features long primary pipes and a straight through front section
Center section is available as a straight through pipe, or silenced
The tail section has a nice 75mm diameter polished round outlet

Local customer Lee just popped in with his 1998 GTV V6 that he has been resurrecting over the last 5 months. The car has been laid up for over 4 years, and work has included full engine service with cam belts and water pump, new clutch and cylinders, Gear lever base repair, new road springs, bushes and ball joint, reconditioned alternator, front and rear discs, pads and calipers (fronts unrated to 330’s) and a new set of 17 inch wheels and tyres.
Most parts have been available off the shelf.
After such a long lay up its also needed repairs to the PAS pump and wiper motor and linkage. which we have been able to supply used items. (wiper motor and linkage are still available new to special order but has a retail price of over £900.00!!)
Great to see another of these great cars saved, and looking forward to seeing it when its had a wax and polish and in the sun!

We have been sold out for quite some time, so we are very happy to have just received a new delivery of hubcaps from Italy.
We have the two styles of early caps. These are the version with a small insert ring. The first is held in place with clips and the later is a “knock on” version.
Used on Sprint GT, Duetto Spider and Saloons with 15 inch wheels. Also received in the delivery are the the large ring “knock on” style for 14 inch wheels. these were used on cars after 1968 including GTJ, 1750 GTV and Spider as well as 1st series Alfa Sud.

One of the many questions we receive about suspension upgrades for 116 Alfetta, GTV6 and 75s, is regarding rear springs and ride height options.
As well as the adjustable rear springs and platforms for track day cars, we also have two styles of road springs available. The first is from Eibach. these give a nice ride height, but can be a little taller than some customers request. The other set are listed as Alfetta sports springs. these are made in Italy and give a slightly lower ride height.

Made in Italy this sports system includes tubular manifolds with long primary pipes and a non silenced front section. Sports silencers on middle and tail sections, and all in stainless steel.
The tail section is available with a single straight 60mm outlet or a 50mm down-turned outlet to look as original.

I have just come across this advert we did for the AROC magazine back in the late 1980s.
30 years on were still selling the same kind of parts, with Alfetta and GTV6 parts a specialty.
Prop couplings and exhausts still selling well.
the text for the carb mounts is so typical of Davids sense of humor.
