Local customer Lee just popped in with his 1998 GTV V6 that he has been resurrecting over the last 5 months. The car has been laid up for over 4 years, and work has included full engine service with cam belts and water pump, new clutch and cylinders, Gear lever base repair, new road springs, bushes and ball joint, reconditioned alternator, front and rear discs, pads and calipers (fronts unrated to 330’s) and a new set of 17 inch wheels and tyres.
Most parts have been available off the shelf.
After such a long lay up its also needed repairs to the PAS pump and wiper motor and linkage. which we have been able to supply used items. (wiper motor and linkage are still available new to special order but has a retail price of over £900.00!!)
Great to see another of these great cars saved, and looking forward to seeing it when its had a wax and polish and in the sun!

We have been sold out for quite some time, so we are very happy to have just received a new delivery of hubcaps from Italy.
We have the two styles of early caps. These are the version with a small insert ring. The first is held in place with clips and the later is a “knock on” version.
Used on Sprint GT, Duetto Spider and Saloons with 15 inch wheels. Also received in the delivery are the the large ring “knock on” style for 14 inch wheels. these were used on cars after 1968 including GTJ, 1750 GTV and Spider as well as 1st series Alfa Sud.

One of the many questions we receive about suspension upgrades for 116 Alfetta, GTV6 and 75s, is regarding rear springs and ride height options.
As well as the adjustable rear springs and platforms for track day cars, we also have two styles of road springs available. The first is from Eibach. these give a nice ride height, but can be a little taller than some customers request. The other set are listed as Alfetta sports springs. these are made in Italy and give a slightly lower ride height.
pictured below is the same car sporting both sets.
the car with Eibachs pro kit rear springs
and the same car with our sports rear spring set
Thank you to Richard in New Zealand for sending the photos, its a great looking car!

Made in Italy this sports system includes tubular manifolds with long primary pipes and a non silenced front section. Sports silencers on middle and tail sections, and all in stainless steel.
The tail section is available with a single straight 60mm outlet or a 50mm down-turned outlet to look as original.

I have just come across this advert we did for the AROC magazine back in the late 1980s.
30 years on were still selling the same kind of parts, with Alfetta and GTV6 parts a specialty.
Prop couplings and exhausts still selling well.
the text for the carb mounts is so typical of Davids sense of humor.

We just received new stock of stainless steel middle sections both silenced and straight through for GTV6.
We have been without these for some time, and we had quite a waiting list,

These covers have been out of production with Alfa for a while now so original old stock covers are becoming harder to find. Original part number was 60600317 and 60600318
While the original covers were made out of Acrylic ours are made out of Polycarbonate and therefore a lot tougher.
we also still have a few new RH front lamps available part number 60608138
see them listed here

We have just collected a number of old stock and used items including many for JZ. Our long time customer is clearing his garage and asked us to help find homes for some of the parts he has collected over the last 40+ years.
This includes a completer rear end with boot floor bought new from Zagato, windscreen and rubbers, plexi glass and trims, bumper rubbers and a host of interior trim parts.
Over the next few weeks we plan to catalog them and list them on our used parts pages here

A fantastic quality reproduction front grille with badge is now available for the 916 GTV and Spider.
The original Alfa grille has been out of production for a number of years, partly because this grill was a popular option to update the earlier cars that had a plain black insert.

I visited Thruxton race circuit at the weekend to watch the HRDC Alfa Challenge organised by Julius Thurgood.
Chris Snowdon (CSR) was driving Richard Melvin’s ex dealer Alfetta GTV, and he won the race from pole position with Alex Jupe in his Alfetta GTV finishing 2nd.
The race had five Alfetta GTVs, one 75 ts, a 116 Giulietta as well as a large number of 105s.
It was great to meet up with a number of old customers, some of which we have dealt with for decades over the phone.
Richards car is running a number of the special race parts we are marketing including
we have many new products coming on line over the next few months, so if your preparing a trans-axle track day or race car we advise you get in touch.

Made in Italy our stainless steel manifold kits are back in stock. They benefit from a recent upgrade with new flanges and pipe bends, and have been test fitted to make fitting a little easier than previous versions. can be used with both standard mild steel middle and tails, or our various stainless systems.

We are now able to offer a uni-ball adjustable watts linkage kits for Alfetta 116, GTV6 and Alfa 75’s.
The standard linkage uses nylon and rubber bushes that can give excessive movement, so the use of uni-ball rod ends eliminates this. The anodized alloy rods are also left and right hand threaded, so its possible to adjust the length, which is required when lowering the ride height.
The center boss is mounted with roller bearings, and the kit is supplied with all new nuts, bolts and centering spacers.

Roll bar links for Alfetta and 75 front sway bar are now available from stock.
These links are supplied with the later style nylon exterior bush.
Early cars used a metal exterior bush with a 30mm diameter (old part number was 1356.45090) and these have been obsolete for some time.
fitting the later nylon bush to the original early link is very difficult as the bush is almost 34mm in diameter.
see 116/GTV6 and Alfa75 suspension parts here
Links also available for 105 models
